Born in 2000, the Primavera Sound is a world-renowned music festival that takes place each May/June in Barcelona. The festival lasts 3 days covering a diverse range of music genres but mostly indie, pop, rock and electro genre. Previous acts have included Pulp, PJ Harvey and Grinderman as well as a massive line-up of big name Djs. There will also be many smaller events in other venues including concerts in underground clubs and day time performances in parks and public spaces.

Primavera Sound annually takes place at the Parc Del Forum and Poble Espanyol with the best international acts. El Parc Del Forum is on the coast of Barcelona neighbouring the region of Santi Marti. The Forum is now a regular hot spot for annual event and festivals in Barcelona. Other attractions nearby include the natural science museum and the local Port forum yacht marina.
