Placa de Catalunya
in Barcelona City
.
-->
The Placa de Catalunya (Barcelona's busiest square located between the old city and (relatively, we are talking mainland Europe here) new Eixample district. The famous Rambla starts here and for your break in this sizzling city, no better place to start, catch that tourbus, stroll las Ramblas down to the port and take it all in. You wont be alone though, its always busy and we mean always, both above ground and below. The Placa sits atop the city's main metro and railway lines not to mention the proximity of the airport and tourist buses. Why not dive in and stay at the nearby
Olivia Plaza Hotel or
Catalonia Duques de Bergara and sample this feast of noise, sights and smells for the senses. Other points of interests include the
Contemporary Art Museum and the
Barri Gotic
