, the Mila House more commonly known as La Pedrera (pile of stones), is a imaginative piece of architecture work by Antoni Gaudi.
Constructed between the years 1905 and 1910, Le Pedrea is one of the most magnificent pieces of architectural design in Barcelona city. Commissioned by a local businessman, La Pedrera was built as a apartment block. It is the last independent pieces of architecture before Antoni Gaudi devoted his work life to the Sagrada Familia.
The La Pedrea building notable features uneven shaped stone work with a façade of multi colours. It is now classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Tourists can visit the lavish top-floor flat, attic and roof, altogether known as the Gaudi Space.
